I recently replaced my very old hugging pillow with a Hina dakimakura and boy is it 😭😭😭 fuel.
I got curious and checked Hina's height: 142cm. Coincidentally, the pillow I got is 150cm. Accounting for the blank areas at the top and bottom of the illustration, and slight deviations in height because of her posture, it's probably close enough.
Basically I'm hugging a life-sized Hina when I go to sleep. Wow, it must be good to be sensei. Wonder what she actually smells like, probably really good from what Ako says in fan illustrations.
I've even got an wack idea for a fan fiction because of it. A dakimakura suddenly coming to life à la reverse isekai, Hina being confused why she's not in Kivotos, the two of you not understanding each other's language and communicating using translators (in typical weeb fashion, assuming they use Japanese), she tries and eventually adjusts to her new life outside a trigger-happy Kivotos. A happy life with Hina wife.
Anime girls are worse than drugs, people—especially if they're cute.
